You never know when a photo will present itself…even when doing something as simple as walking to lunch. I encountered this scene during my walk back to my office after lunch. During this tumultuous time in our country, sometimes a simple setting is all we need to calm ourselves
I call this photo, "Church and State." These 2 words that are usually preceded by the words, Separation of, however, you almost always hear the words Church and State together in a phrase.
The thing I love about photography...a photo's message or meaning is different depending on the viewer. Even though all artists will have their intended message/meaning assigned to their work, its always in the eye of the beholder. Some might see this as a union between two entities that encourage love and inclusion. Others may view this as 2 world super powers who have a history of working hand and hand. What did I intend for this photo to mean? To me, this photo means....
